ARAIMFUSE K.O.M

On the 10th of February 2023, the Kick-Off Meeting of the ARAIMFUSE project successfully took place remotely. The main objective of the project is to analyse the extension and evolution of the Advanced Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (ARAIM) concept for Rail, Maritime and UAS sectors and to support standardisation activities. Building on the success of the precedent project ARAIMTOO, the consortium involves GMV as team lead and NLR and VVA as partners.

The main tasks performed within ARAIMFUSE project will be:

– Development of the Integrity Concept, including definition of the Architecture, User Algorithm, Integrity Service Message (ISM) modifications and Safety Analysis.
– Characterization of local effect models for multipath and Non-Line-Of-Sight effects by means of GNSS real data campaigns.
– Proof-Of-Concept of the proposed ARAIM evolutions by a dedicated experimentation using SW implementations with the goal to analyze whether the non-aviation user requirements are met with the proposed ARAIM evolutions.
– Cost Benefit Analysis.
– Dissemination activities to interact and gather feedback from non-aviation community, including end users and receiver manufacturers.
– Supporting activities to Standardization of GNSS in Rail, Maritime and UAVs domains.
